CRIIC (www.criic.cn), is a Chinese State-owned holding company founded in 1991. The main business for China Rainbow includes International projects contracting, international investment and trade, with a wealth of experience for international projects contracting. The businesses include power engineering, transportation engineering, petrochemical engineering and medicine, etc. CRIIC has completed many turnkey projects as an EPC contractor around the world in China, Far East & South America in LNG, Power & Infrastructure. Chinese President’s vision of “One Belt One Road” (OBOR) policy with the intention of promoting economic cooperation amongst countries along the “Belt” and “Road” routes has prompted CRIIC to arrange turnkey financing for the Projects in Pakistan, which are also insured by Sinosure (www.sinosure.com.cn) – again a Chinese Government Insurance Company.
HOSPITALITY PVT. LIMITED
Pak Hospitality Pvt. Limited (www.pakhospitality.com) is a nascent company established in 2017 by forming a SPV between R E Technologies Pvt. Limited and IHS Pak Pvt. Limited. IHS Pak (Pvt.) Limited is a subsidiary of Integrated Hotel Solutions Inc (IHS) USA (www.ihotelsolutions.com). The purpose of this SPV is to establish multiple hotels in different cities of Pakistan. Pak Hospitality with collaboration of InterContinental Hotels Group (IHG) (www.ihgplc.com) has secured three major brands under IHG to establish seven hotels in Pakistan i.e. Intercontinental Hotels at Karachi & Islamabad; Crowne Plazas at Lahore, Gwadar and Peshawar; Holiday Inns at Karachi, Nathiagali & Bhurban. Presently Pak Hospitality is working with Pakistan Navy to establish a Holiday Inn and Commercial Center at Karsaz. The SPV is carrying out due-diligence of the properties it has acquired in Lahore and Islamabad to construct Crowne Plaza and Intercontinental hotels respectively.
